James Hancock III: Best of the Competition

Since completing his military service in 2018 and moving to California, James Hancock III has quickly become known as one of San Diego’s best comedians. He’s appeared on HULU, YouTube, radio & TV stations and for his recent debut stage performance, he starred in Backyard Renaissance’s 2021 production of “Dry Powder”.
In addition to being a Finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, James competed in the world famous San Francisco Comedy Competition. He shined week after week, making it all the way to the finals and taking home second place! This stunning feat was accomplished by one of his IDOLs the legendary Robin Williams in 1976 and has been a dream of his.
His joy for amusing others and desire to help people to laugh more began while James was serving in the United States Military. During his tours, James’ alluring nature, class clown persona and unparalleled public speaking abilities made him the go to person for on-base events. Throughout his 8 years of service, he hosted countless retirement ceremonies, promotion celebrations, change of command observations and many other functions. From Korea to Arkansas and everywhere in between, James Hancock III entertained thousands of troops around the globe annually.
His dedication to his craft, kind nature and devotion to spreading joy and laughter make it easy to root for him and his mission to help the world laugh more.
Andrew Frank is a comedian based out of Seattle. He started writing and performing stand up at the age of 14 and has relentlessly toured the United States, Canada, Scotland, France, Germany, Austria, Vienna, Czech Republic, Bratislava, and Estonia over the course of his career.
He was named one of the “Best Undiscovered Comedians in America” by Thrillist Magazine, and has just recently completed a 25 show run of his hour entitled Andrew Frank: Cognitive Goof at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
