Opening night of the hilarious Seattle International Comedy Competition is coming to Tukwila. What a great way to recover from Election Day. Sixteen outstanding comedians chosen from hundreds of hopefuls each doing a tight, original five minutes. Expect all types. Past finalist Wyatt Cote will get off his surfboard to host this bad boy.
Judges score the comedians and the audience adds one crucial role, the better response, the higher the score.
This event truly is the “Last Comic Standing”. The Competition attracts comedians from across North America and beyond. This event is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Mitch Hedberg. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete. Only 32 are chosen.
Wyatt Cote dropped out of college one year shy of graduation to pursue a career in comedy and has since become a nationally working headliner with five comedy contest wins to his credit. He was the winner of the World Series of Comedy in 2021 and also finished runner up in the historic San Francisco Comedy Competition. His stand up has appeared on Laughs on Fox and ABC news.
