You heard of the Thrilla in Manila? Get ready for the Comedy Show in Kelso!
Luke Severeid who barely missed the Finals of the Seattle International Comedy Competition last year, has been out shows across the Pacific Northwest as he prepared to engage in a new project on the East Coast. Before he leaves, he wants he wants one show with Phillip Kopczynski.
Luke Severeid is PNW native who has taken his rambunctious brand of comedy on the road touring up and down the west coast and Canada yelling and telling jokes the whole way. He’s often been described as “What a comedian would be like if they had rabies.” and is constantly reminded by strangers that he looks like their favorite bouncer. He’s also performed in Bumbershoot, the Seattle International Comedy Competition and recently won “Best Comedy” at HUMP Film Festival.
Born and raised in the mountains of Eastern Washington, Phillip Kopczynski started comedy at age 11 doing pratfalls to make his Down Syndrome sister laugh. Don’t judge, you’ll laugh too.
Always pulling from life experiences and poorly thought out opinions, Phillip’s animated storytelling pulls in audiences for an eccentric good time. In 2018 he placed second at Seattle International Comedy Competition.
The curiously named Kate Carlson Carlsen (Carlson is her maiden name, her married name is Carlsen). A native Washingtonian, she was a contestant in 2022.
Kate’s fun storytelling style about her life and her big unconventional family will surely leave you laughing!
