Just when you think this thing is locked down so you can make a prediction, standup comedy happens and it’s anyones guess. For the first two nights Matt Donaher was clearly the winner. Then Friday night, Myles Anderson took first place at the Kirkland Performance Center. At the Admiral Theatre, Nick Hart was the clear winner. Now it’s anybody’s guess.
The Kirkland Performance Center was sold out and absolutely full for our third show of five in the Finals Week of the 38th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition. It was our only trip to the Eastside this year and it was worth it.
Tonight’s show requires a ferry ride to attend. We are heading to the Vashon Theatre, conveniently located on Vashon Island. This is always a fabulous show and it’s our 15th show at the theatre. As usual, it’s sold out.
There’s only three shows left until the event comes to a close at the Comedy Underground on Sunday.
We started out the Finals of the 38th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition in the Crystal Ballroom at the world famous Washington Athletic Club. In this round, we can get a flavor of a comics full act and right out of the gate the comics brought the thunder to a very appreciative crowd.
Tonight was the last show of the Semifinals. Ten very funny comics take the stage at Laughs Comedy Club in Seattle.
Five will advance to the Finals of the 38th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition.
There is 1/100th of a point separating fifth and sixth place. That’s the difference between the Finals and going home. This is a show you should see.
A memorable night of comedy at Bainbridge Performing Arts in Bainbridge last night. Not just because Ana-Marija Stojic ended her set by crowd surfing her way to the middle of the stands. It’s been a strong show all week for the Semifinals of the 38th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition.
For the first time in five years, the Seattle International Comedy Competition returned to the gorgeous Columbia Theatre in Longview, Washington. The Columbia Theater came complete with a receptive audience gave our Semifinalist lots of love and enthusiasm for the great show.
Olympia is always a treat for the Seattle International Comedy Competition. It was a night with a big crowd, great audience response. It made up for never ending traffic nightmare of driving on I-5 almost any night.
