Finals Night One: Washington Athletic Club
Night One of the Finals brought us to our only private show, which happens at the Washington Athletic Club. This is a unique situation in many ways because you have to pass an audition to be a member so you can come to the show, be an audience member and laugh at others who also had to audition to be on stage for the show.
The WAC likes to do a People’s Choice award which is not always the same as the winner. This year it was Brent Ayton, I guess no Double Crown for the eventual winner of the night.
The Top Five
On Wednesday everyone has to take one last mandatory ferry wide to Vashon Island. It’s mandatory because there is no other way to Vashon unless you like to row. It’s always a great show, minus the rush afterward to catch the ferry.
