Semifinals Kick off at Bainbridge
The fifth year in a row that we’ve taken the competition to Bainbridge Island. This was the first time that we started the Semifinals at Bainbridge Performing Arts, the night where the best performers from Preliminary Round One and the best performers from Preliminary Round Two meet and perform together for the first time.
Well, the top two finishers for tonight knew each other already because both Harry J Riley and Phillip Kopczynski are Spokane-based comics. Seattle is also well represented in the Nightly Top 5 with Bo Johnson and Chris Mejia making the podium. The only non-Washington State based performer in the Top Five is Landry, who hails from Kitchener, Ontario Canada.
