Here Comes Seabiscuit!

In a repeat of his amazing preliminary round finish to make the semis, David Louis from New York did it again to make the finals, jumping from seventh to third at Kirkland Performance Center, no doubt helped by an unexpected harmonica solo to finish his set. He’ll join Paul Goodwin from Columbus, MS, who took the opposite route, squeezing into the semis and then setting the pace with hilarious tales of suspected child abduction and sex toy home protection. Brent Ayton from Edmonton was close behind chronicling his adventures of being good looking yet cross eyed. Tyrik Woods representing Atlanta seemed to know he was a lock to advance so cruised into fourth working out new material while Jordan Policicchio from Toronto eased up just enough with his insights into Italian culture to procure spot number five in the finals.

All in all, it was an amazing semi-finals with the outcome unpredictable to the very end. Now for a day off to work on the longer sets required in the finals. No rest for the weary.
