Everyone Needs a little Oly in their life
Washington Center in Olympia had a record crowd with lots of first-timers. The word is really out that this is a fantastic show and a packed show has such great energy. Or maybe it’s the water. Plus having Globey hanging from the curtains was a great site to see.
But there was one moment of panic for the comedians.
The theater director came out and asked the crowd if they were enjoying the snow. You have to keep in mind Western Washington had some pretty brutal weather earlier in the week and the panic over heading home in the snow was real.
The Washington Center For The Performing Arts set up an artificial snow display. So the Director was asking if people liked it. There was no snow on the way, just good old liquid water falling from the sky one expects in November in Western Washington.

I should add OLY is not a nickname for the town so much as a nickname for Olympia Beer that was brewed in nearby Tumwater, Washington.
