Opening night kicks off at Unexpected Productions, the heart of improv in Seattle. Since 1983, they have been dedicated to promoting the art and spirit of improvisation. Their show, Theatresports has been running for over 30 years!
Unexpected Productions and The Market Theater are located downtown in Pike Place Market, in the heart of Seattle’s Tourist District.
Tonight’s master of ceremonies is Scott Losse, the 2013 winner of the Northwest Comedy Competition and a semi-finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2014. Scott has appeared at SF Sketchfest, Seattle Sketchfest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and Bumbershoot. Scott has worked with Emo Philips, Bobcat Goldthwait, Caroline Rhea (they didn’t have a choice) and comedians who aren’t any of those people. In 2016 He appeared on several episodes of Laughs on Fox. You’ve never heard of him, but that’s ok. He’s still pretty good at it and we like him.
