Bainbridge Performing Arts – Semi-Finals Night 4 SOLD OUT

The Seattle International Comedy Competition returns to the Bainbridge Performing Arts for the second year, this time bringing a semi-final show. 10 comedians perform, 5 from each of the 2 opening rounds. This show sold out well in advance, so get your tickets now!

What began in 1956 as the only community organization to combine theatre, dance and music on Bainbridge Island thrives still today. A handful of volunteers with deep visionary roots, an eagerness for hard work, a readiness to perform anywhere, and financial allegiance planted a seed that flourished. Now, seamlessly woven into the fabric of Island life, BPA has emerged as the quintessential heart of Bainbridge Island ‘s artistic community, a gathering place for the energy, talent, and spirit of artists, writers, directors, musicians, dancers, students, volunteers, and impassioned audience members. Tonight’s Emcee: Dan Rosenberg
Dan Rosenberg is a comedian, writer, bodybuilder, radio host, husband, and father. One of those is not true. He has performed at comedy clubs and festivals across North America. Rosenberg has hosted radio shows for CBS Radio in Los Angeles, and is the author of The Book on Hosting: How Not to Suck as an Emcee. So we think it’s safe to say he knows what he is doing in that department.
Dan also hosted the semi-finals of the Boston International Comedy Festival and holds workshops on hosting.
Dan Rosenberg has also been seen many times at the Annual JUST FOR LAUGHS Comedy Festival in Montreal. (2000, West of the Fest, 2001, Best of the Fest-Host, 2002-2003 Best of the Fest, 2004 Best of the Fest Host, 2006 Best of the Fest).
