DESCRIPTION:The Seattle International Comedy Competition returns to Green River College for the first week of Preliminaries. The show features 16 comedians from around North America competing for just five chances to advance to the Semifinals. The rest go home. To make the evening more interesting\, it’s TV clean night. That brings to mind that classic George Carlin bit. \n\n\n\nAbout the Competition\n\n\n\nThis event truly is the “Last Comic Standing”. The Competition attracts comedians from across North America and beyond. This event is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America\, launching the careers of people like Mitch Hedberg\, Gabriel Rutledge and Joey Diaz. It is an outrageously funny evening\, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune.
