It’s the night before Thanksgiving and one thing is clear, we’re going to see some great comedy and maybe have a beer! What could be a better way to spend Thanksgiving Eve than in a sold-out theatre on Vashon Island? The Vashon Theatre is another venue we always enjoy. Not only does the theatre have a great selection of first run movies and independent films, it also features special limited events such as National Theatre live, Oscar nights and Vashon Island community events. This show sells out, so buy your tickets early.
The top five comedians compete to see who is champ. Judges score the comedians and the audience adds one crucial role, the better response, the higher the score.
This event truly is the “Last Comic Standing”. The Compeition attracts comedians from across North America and beyond. This event is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Mitch Hedberg. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete. Only 32 are chosen.

Your Host: Christina Walkinshaw
Finals Host
Christina Walkinshaw hosts the Finals. She’s a former Finalist in her own right. She is a Canadian stand up comic now living in New York. Her half hour comedy special often repeats in the middle of the night while you’re sleeping. You’ve seen her on Just For Laughs, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and she’s done multiple tours for the troops overseas. She’s been on CBC’s “The Debaters,” and she also makes (sporadic) appearances in the shower.
