The second night of the Semifinals of the Seattle International Comedy Competition. We’ve taken the top 10 comedians out of the Preliminaries and allow them to compete to advance for a chance to the Finals. Only five advance, the rest go home.
The Edmonds Center for the Arts presents an array of outstanding performing artists from around the world, provides space, production management, and technical expertise for a variety of community partners and rental clients, and serves more than 65,000 patrons who enjoy the facility annually.
This show is sponsored by Susan Dunn, Gallaghers Where U Brew, Loughrin & Company CPAs and Tom & Valerie Wall. Thank you.
The master of ceremonies for tonight’s show is Seattle native Rod Long, a former winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and one of the funniest people we know.
Rod Long usually works exclusively for Norwegian Cruise Lines, so it’s a rare treat to see him in Seattle. Long has shared the stage with Anita Baker, Smokey Robinson, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, and The Temptations to name a few. A professional photographer and former associate editor at Petersen’s Photographic Magazine in Los Angeles.
