The Seattle International Comedy Competition returns to the Bainbridge Performing Arts with ten comedians performing, the top five from each of the two opening rounds. This show sells out well in advance, so get your tickets now! This is the show we name the Top Five moving on to the Finals. Bainbridge Performing Arts promotes appreciation of and participation in the performing arts to build, educate and inspire our vibrant, creative community. Since 1956, countless acts – large and small – have informed each production that graces the BPA stage. Collectively we have grown and reaped a communal bounty of grass-roots ARTivism, with people from all walks of life gathering under one roof to laugh, rage, and cry with friends, family, neighbors, and strangers. As heart strings are plucked in a drumbeat of connection, we turn to our supporters in gratitude for the opportunity to bring a taste of magic to the community that we love. BPA shows, directors, actors, and technical staff have earned rave reviews in the Kitsap Sun, Broadway World, AXS, and more.

Your Emcee: Mike Baldwin
Mike Baldwin simply goes out night after night and delivers top notch comedy. His style is instantly likable, entirely personal and it highlights his attention to detail. His material is crisp and efficient and he supplements that material with subtle but perfect facial expressions, vocal inflections and a genuine smile.
Mike won the grueling, three-week-long Seattle International Comedy Competition, as well as Indianapolises’s Trial By Laughter. He has two comedy albums, “Bees Can Taste With Their Feet”, and “Front To Back”, both of which shot up the charts online. Mike is best appreciated in person. He is one of the best live acts you will see this year!
