The Seattle International Comedy Competition returns to Auburn with 16 comedians competing for a chance to advance to the Semifinals. Only five will advance, the rest go home.
The Auburn Avenue Theater is a really great venue because it’s one of the few in our contest where you can see all 32 comics in the same venue. It’s a preview of some of the best emerging comedy talent.
Performances at the Auburn Ave Theater tend to sell out, so we recommend pre-purchasing your tickets to a performance. Seating at the Auburn Avenue Theater is on a first come, first served basis. The Theater is open one hour prior to the start of a show for box office ticket sales and 30 minutes prior to the start of a show for seating. Ticketholders can enjoy a 10% dining discount on the day of the performance only at several downtown Auburn restaurants.
The Seattle International Comedy Competition brings two shows at the Auburn Ave Theatre with completely different comedians. This gives you the ability to see all of the comedians performing in the Competition at the same venue.
Hans Kim was a semi-finalist in the 2016 San Francisco Comedy Competition and a finalist in the 2015 Seattle International Comedy Competition.
