Following a 20+ year stint in broadcasting Rick Taylor has been bringing his forty-something average gay guy view to the stand-up stage for the last 5 years. His musings generally take the life experience route as he is, in his own words, “too lazy to make stuff up.” Rick has performed at Portland’s PrideFest, Seattle’s Sketchfest, and at Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. Rick has made his mark on Seattle comedy scene by performing regularly in every room available and by starting and running some of the city’s most popular local comedy shows and venues.
Rick was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and for the past 15 years makes his home in Seattle with his husband of 19 years and their two disobedient and ungrateful felines.
